EN 13595 (protective clothing for professional motorcycle riders)
The Kevlar® used in our jeans has been tested in laboratory according to European Standard EN 13595-2 (method for determination of impact abrasion resistance) with a profit of
7.15 seconds of abrasion resistance in accordance with the level 2.
Subjecting the same material by the European standard EN 13595 part 4 (method for determination of impact cut resistance), the result is in line with the level 1.
PROmo jeans offers a very higher security than a classic jeans.
The tests were carried out by skilled and certified security analysis of the individual person, according to the requirements of European standard EN 13595:2002 and authorized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
UNI 12947 - Martindale method
The Martindale method allows to analyze the resistance of a fabric through a series of repeated cycles of abrasion, as described by European standards UNI 12947-1.
We tested the Kevlar® fabric paired with denim by the Martindale method. The results were excellent, more than 70,000 cycles of abrasion, the test was discontinued.
A classic fabric denim of a common jeans, resist less than 10,000 cycles.
